How do I join?

Come to a meeting as a guest. At the end of the meeting ask the membership secretary for an application form >>click here

How many times can I be a guest before I have to join?

Feel free to turn up as a guest as often as you like; it is free. The Sergeant at Arms will welcome you and tell you anything you need to know. Just before the break, you may be asked to stand beside your seat and introduce yourself to the club but, other than that, you don’t have to say anything.

How much does it cost and how do I join?

When can I start making speeches?

As soon as you enrol as a full member, you can start to reserve speech slots and volunteer for functionary roles – contact the Vice President Education. education@londoncardinals.com

What if I need help with my first speech?

New members can be assigned a mentor to personally advise them for as long as they need it – contact the Vice President Mentoring mentoring@londoncardinals.com

Can I subscribe to the eNewsletter?

No need to subscribe as it’s uploaded here onto the website after each meeting.

Can Toastmasters help me to become a professional speaker?

There are a number of Toastmasters International clubs – such as our own around London. These clubs are a great way to train and practise with a well-established and proven programme. There is also a Professional Speakers Association www.psa.org
