Our Next Meeting 19th January 2009
FeatureGeneral EvaluatorThe General Evaluator evaluates everyone on the programme who’s not already been evaluated:The President, Toastmaster, Timekeeper, Grammarian, Table Topics Master, Topics Evaluator, Sergeant at Arms and the Evaluators of all the prepared speeches. The General Evaluator also comments on general observations of the club, the room set-up, programmes, atmosphere and timings. Everything evaluated must follow the Commend – Recommend – Commend format. Because the allotted time is only 10 minutes, it’s important to keep to just one C-R-C. Don’t be tempted to give more than one Commendation, Recommendation and Commendation or you will run out of time. The following checklist may be a useful reference on things to look out for.
