Sergeant at Arms

  • Set up the room including putting programmes and feedback slips on chairs, putting up banner, flip chart stand, lecture nights brochures at back of room, guest cards (for them to complete), box with spare pens, etc.
  • Arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of each meeting to...
  • Stand by the door as guests arrive, get them to fill in a guest card and introduce them to a member to talk to
  • Collecting slips for best table topics, speaker, evaluator
  • Introducing guests
  • Break down room at the end of the evening
